What goes into landed cost?
- FOB — vehicle price at origin yard
- Freight — RoRo or container to Tema/Takoradi
- Insurance — marine cargo insurance (indicative)
- CIF — FOB + freight + insurance (duty is often calculated on CIF)
- Import duty & levies — per GRA schedules (verify with clearing agent)
- Inspection & service fees — export-side processing
- Clearing & port charges — paid locally in Ghana

Ghana applies age-related rules and penalties on many vehicle categories. Vehicles more than 10 years old may attract additional charges. Always confirm with your clearing agent before purchase.
