Typical import steps

- Landed-cost estimate — use the calculator on each vehicle for indicative FOB + freight + duty.
- Reserve & pay — proforma invoice, bank/MoMo transfer, payment verification, and receipt.
- Export documents — inspection, export certificate, and Bill of Lading when shipped.
- Arrival at Tema/Takoradi — clearing with your agent; final duty per Ghana Customs.
RoRo vs container
Most sedans and SUVs ship RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) to Tema or Takoradi. Larger units may require container shipping — freight rates vary by body type and port.
